With five nationwide locations, GBM® specializes in a range of innovative and sustainable products designed to reduce environmental impact. 



  

Our core product offerings include:

  • ICCF Blocks (Insulated Composite Concrete Form Blocks): Our blocks are a highly sustainable alternative to traditional construction methods. They offer exceptional insulation, fire resistance, sound attenuation, and structural strength. Our ICCF blocks incorporate a significant percentage of recycled materials, such as expanded polystyrene (Styrofoam™), reducing waste and enhancing thermal performance, leading to lower energy consumption for heating and cooling.
  • Recycled Glass Drainage Materials: GBM® utilizes recycled glass to create effective drainage solutions. This practice diverts glass from landfills, conserves natural sand resources, and can offer benefits like improved water drainage in soil, reduced heat absorption, and a lower carbon footprint compared to virgin materials.
  • Concrete Products: GBM® provides concrete products that align with green building principles. This often involves incorporating recycled aggregates, industrial by-products like fly ash or blast furnace slag, or using mixes that reduce embodied carbon. Green concrete solutions maintain performance while minimizing environmental impact throughout their lifecycle.

  • "95% of our building materials are made from recycled or upcycled materials."  
  • Recycled materials are those that have been processed and reused in their original or a new form, preventing them from going to landfill.
  • Upcycled materials are those that are transformed into new products of higher quality or value than the original, often creatively repurposing waste.
  • "Our Products meets or exceeds International Building Code." This is crucial, as it assures our customers and regulators that our sustainable products do not compromise on safety, structural integrity, or other performance standards. Also insuring by using recycled/upcycled content is not at the expense of established building regulations.
  • "Most of our products are by-products of other materials that are transformed into new products or refurbished into new products." Our approach to material sourcing is having multiple outlet's engaging every day citizens to drop-off or have GBM pickup unwanted materials: 
  • By-products Materials that might otherwise be considered waste from other industrial processes and giving them a new life. 
  • "Transformed into new products" Our manufacturing process where these by-products are re-engineered into different building materials.
  • "Refurbished into new products" We take existing products, repairing or improving them, and giving them a second life, rather than manufacturing entirely new items from raw materials.
